BRIGHTQ DEMO ACTIVATION STEPS

Step 1:

Receive Email

The Codehost License Server will email you a Certificate Number and the information needed to download and install BrightQ.

Step 2:

Download
BrightQ

Download the BrightQ binary for your operating system. You will get a file with a .run extension, which needs to be copied to the target system.

Step 3:

Install BrightQ

To start the installation process, run the downloaded archive through the "sh" command:

sh brightq-se-2.4.1-operating_system-2009-04-22.run

Step 4:

Launch BrightQ

 Launch BrightQ by entering codehost-config at a shell prompt. If this is the first time the program has been launched, you will be automatically prompted to run the License Manager.

Step 5:

Activate BrightQ
(Internet connection required)

Click on the "License Activation" button, and enter the Certificate Number that was emailed to you, as well as the email address and password you registered with in Step 1.

Note: If you have already run the Brightq configuration tool, go to the File > License Manager menu, or run the codehost-license command.

BrightQ will validate your license and download the appropriate files to your system.
